Legendary Organics has opened its doors to the public as a recreational cannabis dispensary for people 21 and older at 1339 Lawrence Drive, Thousand Oaks.
Yesterday, August 5, was the first day of recreational sales.
Legendary will launch a delivery service for those who prefer products delivered to their homes on Thursday, September 15th.
Legendary Organics is the first licensed dispensary in Thousand Oaks, but has been limited to medical patients by city ordinance.
The Thousand Oaks City Council voted June 28 to allow recreational sales of cannabis in addition to its medical offerings.
Customers require a driver’s license, passport or other state or federal identification.
You no longer need a doctor’s recommendation to buy in the store.
“Since we opened in February, we’ve had an incredible response from our community. They’ve been waiting almost four years for a safe and convenient way to educate themselves and purchase legal quality cannabis products. The limitation of medical has kept many residents from buying from us, and we are delighted to welcome back all those who have been patiently waiting to come,” said the legendary owners.
Legendary’s staff has been trained in the science of cannabis and all of the store’s products to guide customers in discovering the product and dosage best suited to their personal needs.
Legendary offers a wide range of branded cannabis flowers, pre-rolls, edibles, tinctures, topicals and concentrates.
The store is located in a green industrial building that has been landscaped in the Newbury Park section of Thousand Oaks.
The interior of the day spa features murals painted by local artist Risk.
