Today producer and DJ Grant Kwiecinski, also known as GRiZ, announced the launch of Telescope, a hemp-derived CBD product line available in all states, and Astro Hippie, a full line of THC-rich cannabis products in Michigan. .
GRiZ is no stranger to the cannabis industry, as it has been involved in the business for years, including an award-winning variety a few years ago. The DJ is known for producing what he calls the “future funk” and for his great affinity for the saxophone, accumulating a large number of fans and filling the amphitheaters regularly.

GRiZ recently focused its personal energy on two product lines that embrace the DIY culture in which it has been immersed since its youth, including jelly beans, tinctures, and other products that it uses as pharmaceutical substitute drugs. GRiZ has respect for both the CBD and cannabis industries.
“It’s because of a belief,” GRiZ says. “I really believe in these two types of products. The weed classic: this is something I’ve probably had to do for longer than I’d like to admit. But something that came up to me a lot more recently, in recent years, it has been the CBD side of the marijuana plant, or the hemp plant. “
The THC-centered cannabis line, Astro Hippie, debuts in its hometown of Michigan, personally designed with inclusion and bright, colorful colors in mind. The telescope is available in all states, thanks to the Farm Bill 2018. The brand is aimed at “experimenters and tokers who want to explore life to the fullest; that they want to listen to music that tickles their ears and makes their minds fly ”.
Astro Hippie started with three patented varieties, including the hybrid Mr. B OG. “We have Mr. B OG: a very sweet diesel smell and a hard caramel flavor,” says GRiZ. “It’s also one of those strains that makes you look at reality for a while. You want to jot down all the ideas while you’re stoned.”

There are also predominantly indica flowers. He adds: “We also have G Funk, which is a woody pine herb flavor. It’s a mood boost. If you’re feeling a little depressed, it’s great for stress. If funk “It’s a sound, G Funk is the smell and the taste. This is the funniest variety we’ve ever found. And then we have Tye Die Medusa. It’s great when you have a day off. It’s almost like a psychedelic variety. It’s a “Saturated color fader for your day. Good body buzz. It’s also a very high social.”
Grant wants to distance himself from the typical faceless private equity brands that appear on the left and right. After releasing his seventh studio album, Rainbow brainand the corresponding film and mini-documentary, the artist returned to cannabis, an industry he knows very well.
Accompanying Astro Hippie is Telescope, its CBD brand, a first-class product that allows people, in the words of GRiZ, to “participate in and benefit from this plant without boarding a rocket.” Telescope provides flowers, pre-rolls and jelly beans with a CBD: THC ratio of 10: 1, so you can put them in your mouth during the day.
It’s not always about being drugged, especially when there are tasks on the checklist, so he decided to dedicate himself to the hemp industry as well.

“For me personally, I found the CBD to be a very amazing moment of relief within the same kind of nostalgic feeling, or just along the similar line in this relaxing, analgesic and stress relief way that the next to the marijuana THC. I was giving it, in a new format, “says GRiZ. “This is something I use often, not as a replacement, but both have very specific and very real applications. Being able to have that option is very important.”
GRiZ acknowledged the tastes of wet hay that affect typical hemp flower products, but in the end, it recognizes that THC is not for everyone. “Just because marijuana does something for someone: the trunk could do something completely different for someone else. I wanted to be very aware of that, and not exclude anyone for not being able to participate in something they like to do. And nor do they feel like they are smoking something that tastes like wet hay. [Typical] The CBD flower may feel second-rate in some cases. These strains are just the opposite. At first I was suspicious of that. I have had some bad experiences with the CBD flower. When we were collaborating on this outbreak product, I was amazed. They smell legitimate, like gas. “
GRiZ reminded us that not only does it enter the cannabis industry on a whim; it is something that has always been a part of his adult life.

He is doing what he also liked, but this time with licenses and in compliance with state laws. “I have been selling weeds ever since [I was young]”, Says GRiZ. “It simply came to our notice then. I kept selling weeds in college. This was a way to keep my income. This is also a family business, as my brother is involved. In addition, the share of THC has grown in Michigan, Lansing, where I went to college with a farmer who may or may not have bought kush from college. “Visit the websites for more information or to find additional varieties, or check out their tour schedule.
